Annual Pinning Ceremony Held For Nursing Education Class

The Nursing Education Class of Lawrence County High School recently held their annual pinning ceremony. 

Instructor, Alanna Harris has trained and overseen the thirteen seniors that have completed clinicals at NHC on Brink Street. 

Assistant Principal, Brian Porter lead those in attendance in prayer and candidate, Autumn Calvert entertained the recipients and loved ones by singing, Healer accompanied by guitarist, Nathan Beaulieu. 

Jessica Blessing introduced guest speaker, Brandy Barnett Brown, Physician Assistant and co-owner of One Stop Medical that delivered a very strong message of perseverance. 

Mrs. Wendy Messer and Mrs. Kriss Fann who are also Health Science Instructors of LCHS read the name of each student while Mrs. Harris had the honor of pinning the candidates. 

Chosen to lead the Nightingale Pledge this year was Chelsey Cothran. 

Pinning Candidates include:  Jessica Blessing, Autumn Calvert, Sarah Chaffin, Chelsey Cothran, Ella Hudson, Caitlyn Jacobs, Sarah Kirk, Lauren Porter, Hannah Prince, Kennady Risner, Jana Rose, Imari Simmons, and Haley Spanninger.
